Hague v Committee for Industrial Organization, p 380
- why was justice stone all alone in wanting to allow the speaker to convey this right in a public park, when he wanted to do so under the first amendment, rather than under the privileges and immunities clause? a great mystery of the case. of course i tune in for the thing that even the prof says doesn’t make any sense. score.
- now he’s saying something about prior restraint
- i want a nap
- ooooh, nap
- how nice would that be
- oh! i’ll go up to phyllis’ office after this
- that would be perfect

hi-lar-ious! what's really funny is that we all have days like this - except i've never had a conversation w/myself in my notes. at least not yet!
I think the best part of these exceprts from your notes is the fact that rather than paying attention to what is being said by the professor and writing that down, you are writing down the thoughts in your head.
Not that I always pay attnetion and don't have a whole bunch of other crap going through my head, but I don't write it down. Nothing that goes through my head is important enough for that kind of treatment.
yes, but what's important to note here is that by typing, i looked like i was taking notes. so the professor had no idea. except that i surely had the dead giveaway of having been phased out for the last few minutes, and then suddenly beginning to type animatedly. frequently i type just to look like i am paying attention. i don't want to let the professor onto me. of course, i'm well aware that everything else about my demeanor in class is a dead giveaway.
